Q: Why does my electric heater no longer work as well as it did before?

Electric heating elements are often set up in a parallel. For example, you may have several 5KW units working together to provide 20kw heating. It is possible that the fuses, circuit breakers, or even the thermal cutouts are blown or tripped on one or more of the heating elements, causing the heat output to be greatly decreased.
